MiG-21MF correct radome 1:48 is a resin replacement radar cover, the radome, from Quickboost that corrects the shape of the nose of the MiG-21MF model.

This is a resin accessory, not a standalone model. The set brings a single accurately cast radar cover, the radome, in 1:48 scale with which you replace the less successfully shaped plastic nose from the box. Made for MiG-21MF models.
The radome is the tip of the fuselage housing the antenna of the airborne radar. On a number of kits its profile tends to be simplified or slightly inaccurate; this part gives the nose back its correct geometry and a sharper transition to the fuselage, which is plain at once on the finished model.
Wash any traces of mold release agent off the part, cut the casting block away and sand the face with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a filler primer before painting, which evens out the surface and reveals any marks that still need sanding.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
