A set of masks from kabuki tape for models of the attack aircraft A-4M and A-4KU Skyhawk in 1:72 scale, the BASIC configuration.
Responsibility details are not available.
The A-4 Skyhawk is an American single-seat carrier attack aircraft, small and light enough to do without a folding wing. It served for decades and in many countries. The designation A-4M belongs to the late configuration for the United States Marine Corps, the A-4KU is a closely related version delivered to Kuwait; both have an enlarged dorsal fairing behind the cockpit and a reworked shape of the canopy.
Pre-cut masks from kabuki tape for models of the A-4M and A-4KU in 1:72 scale. The word BASIC in the name sets this configuration apart from the more extensive variant that the line also offers for the same aircraft. The exact extent of the masks and the kit they are cut for are stated in the manufacturer's instructions, so go through them before you build the cockpit.
Kabuki tape conforms well to rounded shapes and leaves no glue once taken off. Apply the masks onto a clean and degreased surface, and always before spraying, never onto a finished finish. Press the edges down with a toothpick or a blunt tip, so that the paint does not run under them. Spray in thin coats, as one thick coat creates an edge at the margin of the mask that is visible once it is off. Take the mask off while the paint is freshly dry, and lead it across the frame, not at a right angle away from the glass.
What is supplied are the masks. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
