A resin detail set of replacement control surfaces for the A-7 Corsair II in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a set of parts with which you replace the rudder, elevators, ailerons and flaps from a plastic kit. The finely cast resin lets you set the control surfaces deflected and gives the model a livelier, realistic look with properly thin trailing edges.
The LTV A-7 Corsair II is an American carrier-borne subsonic attack aircraft. It was created for the US Navy and was used by the US Air Force as well; it was marked out by its long range and its bomb load.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Set the surfaces in the position you choose, line them up and sand the transitions gently with respiratory protection. Finally paint them according to the scheme of the whole model.
The detail set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
