This is an accessory set, not an aircraft model. It contains precisely cast resin wheels for the main and nose landing gear for models of the American A-7 Corsair II carrier attack aircraft in 1:72 scale, complemented by painting masks for the wheel hubs.
The resin wheels replace the plastic parts from a kit with a more faithful surface, a fine tire tread pattern and a clean rendering of the hub. The wheels are usually cast with a flattening at the point of contact, so the model settles naturally onto a surface. The masks supplied make it far easier to separate the tire color from the hub cleanly.
First wash the parts to remove mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks carefully and clean them up. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways when sanding resin. Spray the hub with a base color, stick on the mask and spray the tire; once the mask is taken off you can tidy up the transitions.
This is an accessory resin set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
