A photo-etched set from the Czech maker Brengun for models of the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M5 Zero carrier fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit but a set of fine metal parts that lifts the detail of a plastic model. The set is intended for the Tamiya 60779 kit.
The Mitsubishi A6M Zero was the main carrier fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy in the Second World War. The A6M5 version was a developed variant with a reworked wing and exhausts, committed to action in the later phase of the war.
Photo-etched parts for refining the cockpit interior and the external elements, typically the instrument panel, the side panels, the seat belts and small exterior details that plastic molds capture only coarsely.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a mat, make the bends in a metal bender and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the interior and bring it out with a wash before closing the fuselage.
This is an accessory set, not a model in its own right. The basic Tamiya kit, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
