A set of six resin AASM bombs in 1:72 scale from Rise144models adds a load of guided ordnance to a model of a modern French combat aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
This item is not an aircraft model but an accessory for one: resin castings of AASM aerial ordnance in 1:72 scale. The name gives six pieces, so the set is enough even for a full load on one machine, and that is what separates it from the version the manufacturer supplies together with the rack. For a modeler it is a practical way to add armament the kit either omits entirely or renders only in simplified form.
The AASM is a French modular kit that turns a conventional aerial bomb into guided ordnance: a guidance section attaches at the front of the body and a module with a set of small wings at the rear. That is exactly why it has the distinctive silhouette a modeler recognizes at a glance, and also why it is cast separately. This armament is carried by modern French combat aircraft, hung under the wing and under the fuselage.
Wash the castings in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap and cut off the casting blocks; then level the surfaces with a file so the ordnance sits straight on the rack. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Painting is easier separately on a stick or a piece of wire: primer, base shade, then the guidance section picked out and finally a light wear shade. Leave the hanging until the very end of the build so the castings do not get in your way while handling the model. In 1:72 scale it is worth keeping the patina restrained, as a heavy wash would swamp a small shape.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
