The figure set 1:72 Aero MB-200 Czechoslovak bomber crew Pre-War period from MH models captures the crew of a Czechoslovak bomber in prewar flying dress.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of figures in 1:72 scale from MH models, intended to complete a model of the Aero MB-200 bomber. It is not a kit of the aircraft but an accessory: the crew in the dress used before the Second World War.
The Aero MB-200 was the license-built French Bloch MB.200 bomber, whose production ran in Czechoslovakia in the second half of the 1930s. It was a high-wing monoplane with an angular fuselage and a fixed landing gear, which by the time of delivery already lagged behind newer designs technically and served mainly for crew training and as a transitional type. That is precisely why the prewar flying suits, helmets and goggles in which the crews flew are typical of it.
Figures of this size are painted mainly by contrast rather than by detail. Degrease the parts before painting and apply a thin primer, because otherwise the paint holds badly on a smooth surface. Add a darker wash into the folds of the base shade of the flying suits and light drybrushing on the raised areas. Faces can be managed in three steps: a flesh base, a fine wash and a light accent on the nose and the cheekbones. Try the figures dry in the cockpit or beside the aircraft first, so that they fit the space, and only then fix them in place.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
