Eduard 1:72 masks AH-64D Block II is a die-cut self-adhesive masking set of kabuki tape for masking the cockpit glazing of a model of the American attack helicopter. It is not a model but an accessory for painting.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard contains precisely cut self-adhesive masks of fine Japanese kabuki tape. It is not a kit and not a model but an accessory for clean masking of the angular cockpit glazing of an attack helicopter when spraying paint. The scale of the set is 1:72.
The masks are stuck onto the frames of the cockpit glazing of both crew members, and onto the other clear parts as far as the coverage of the set goes. After spraying the glass stays clear and free of paint. Kabuki tape adapts to the flat and to the faceted areas of the glazing, holds tightly and leaves no glue behind when peeled off. The result is crisp frames with no hand cutting of tape.
The Boeing AH-64D Apache Longbow is an American twin-engine attack helicopter. The Longbow designation refers to the radar mounted above the head of the main rotor, which makes it possible to find targets and attack them with guided missiles. Block II represents a later upgrade standard with improved avionics and communications.
The set contains only the cut-out self-adhesive masking parts. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
