Armory 1:72 Antonov An-28 Cash wheels is a universal set of resin wheels with weighted tires for a model of the Antonov An-28 transport aircraft in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of cast resin wheels from the Ukrainian brand Armory in 1:72 scale for the Antonov An-28 transport aircraft. The box labels the set as universal, that is without a tie to one particular kit, and the tires are cast as weighted, with a flat resting surface and a slightly bulged sidewall. It is not an aircraft model: it is a replacement part with which the wheels from the original kit are exchanged.
The An-28 is a twin-engine turboprop transport aircraft designed by the Antonov bureau, whose NATO reporting name is Cash. It was built for a single task: to get cargo and people to places where there is no airfield. Hence the high-set wing, the strut-braced structure and above all the robust landing gear with large wheels, which takes repeated takeoffs from a grass or muddy plain. Series production moved to the Polish plant in Mielec and ran until the 1990s, when the derived M28 machine came out of the type. For a modeler it is an aircraft on which the landing gear is not a detail on the margin: the whole impression of the machine stands on it.
For more experienced modelers of airliners and transport aircraft in 1:72 who want wheels under the model that match the weight of the machine. The aircraft, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
