The 1:72 mask for the AT-6 Texan and Harvard Mk.II/IIA/IIB is a die-cut masking set for the long canopy glazing of a trainer. An accessory for the build, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
Pre-cut adhesive masks in 1:72 scale for the canopy glazing of the American two-seat trainer that flew in the British Commonwealth under the designation Harvard. According to its designation the set covers several closely related variants, so it will also serve a modeler who builds more than one machine in different color schemes.
It is precisely on trainers with a tandem cockpit that masking is the most tiresome part of the whole build. The glazing is long, made up of a row of flat panes and a dense network of frames, and in 1:72 scale the individual panes are literally a couple of millimeters wide. Cutting tape by hand for that many panels takes hours, and a single slip of the knife is enough to leave a frame of uneven width. A die-cut set removes that problem. Every panel has its own shape, and the spraying then creates the regular grid that makes up most of the finished impression of a model of this type.
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
