Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from Answer Plastic Kits represents the Polish PZL M-18 Dromader agricultural and firefighting aircraft in the AVA-303 (M-188) version and markings. It is a short-run kit; the model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and the actual contents of the box as well as the decal options should be checked against the manufacturer's information.
The PZL M-18 Dromader is a single-engine aircraft designed in the 1970s at the Polish WSK PZL-Mielec works for agricultural work, above all the spraying of crops and forests, and for fighting forest fires by dropping water or retardant from a large tank in the fuselage. It is powered by a radial engine and is built as a rugged, easily maintained workhorse for operation from short, unpaved strips. Dromaders spread to operators all over the world; the AVA-303 (M-188) version refers to one particular configuration and marking of the type.
A short-run kit calls for a more careful approach: clean the flash off the parts and check the fit dry. Glue the joints with liquid modeling cement for plastic. Lay down a primer before painting; an airbrush and a glossier coat under the decals suit the colorful agricultural and firefighting schemes. Mask the glazing of the roomy cockpit before spraying and bring out the panel lines with a fine wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
