A 3D-printed resin cockpit set with the bubble canopy for the Avia S-199 in 1:72 scale. A detail accessory for more experienced modelers, not a standalone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set offers a completely reworked cockpit interior for a model of the Czechoslovak fighter Avia S-199 in the version with the bubble canopy, in 1:72 scale. The parts are made by direct 3D printing in resin and completed with color-printed photo-etched details. This is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory from Eduard that replaces the simple plastic cockpit from the box.
The set is designed for plastic models of the Avia S-199 with the bubble canopy in 1:72 scale. The Avia S-199 was a postwar Czechoslovak fighter derived from the Messerschmitt Bf 109 with a Junkers Jumo engine; because of the substitute powerplant it earned the nickname Mezek (the Mule). It is exactly the detailed cockpit tub, the instrument panel and the belts that change the look of a finished model markedly when seen through the clear canopy.
Wash the remains of uncured resin off the resin parts, cut the print supports off with a saw or a sharp cutter and bond with cyanoacrylate glue. The color photo-etched features (the instrument panel, the belts) are bonded by contact; protect your breathing while sanding and cutting. We recommend assembling and painting the interior before the fuselage is closed.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
