Responsibility details are not available.
A decal sheet in 1:72 scale for models of the British four-engined Avro Lancaster bomber in the B.II version, with the subject set by the year 1943. It is an accessory for a kit, not a model. The particular machines match what the manufacturer gives on the packaging, which we recommend comparing with what you have in mind before buying.
The Lancaster was a four-engined heavy bomber with a deep bomb bay and a twin vertical tail. The B.II version differed from ordinary production in its powerplant: in place of the liquid-cooled engines it was given air-cooled Bristol Hercules radials, which changed the shape of the engine nacelles and the performance characteristics at altitude. Only a limited number were built, so it represents a less usual form of the type that modelers reach for precisely because of the difference.
On a bomber in this scale the fuselage codes and the national insignia are large-area items, and mastering them decides the result. Transfer large decals onto an area dampened with water so that they can be moved, and press the water out from under the film from the center toward the edges with a soft cloth or a cotton swab. Prick air bubbles with the point of a new scalpel and press them out while the film is still damp. Dividing a large decal into parts does not pay off, as the join would be visible; rather make yourself plenty of room and work calmly in one go.
This is a decal sheet, that is an accessory. The kit, paints and varnishes are not included in the package.
