1:72 B-26 Marauder SPACE is an Eduard add-on set from the SPACE line that brings 3D printed interior detail for a model in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set from the SPACE line is not a kit of the aircraft, but an accessory for a part-built model. In this line Eduard combines 3D printing with a decal carrier: the detail is applied to the surface of a part much like a decal, but once dry it looks three-dimensional and carries color rendering that few could manage by hand on so small an area. In 1:72 scale it is the easiest way to get readable instruments into a cockpit without picking out and repainting tiny parts.
The Martin B-26 Marauder was an American twin-engine medium bomber of the Second World War. Because of its slender wing and high wing loading it earned a reputation as a machine demanding on piloting and on runway length. After the crews were trained and the wing modified, however, it was among the types with the lowest share of combat losses on the European battlefield. The Marauder flew over western Europe and in the Mediterranean, served in British and South African markings and its early versions took part in the fighting in the Pacific.
The base should be smooth and rather semi-matte, so that no air gets under the carrier. Cut the piece off as close to the printing as possible, moisten only the backing paper and lift the element off with tweezers. Do not use a decal softener or a setting solution; the element is fixed with PVA white glue. Wipe excess glue away with a tissue, let it dry thoroughly and only then close the cockpit up.
