Eduard 1:72 B-26F/G Marauder painting masks are a set of self-adhesive kabuki masks for clean spraying of the glazed cockpit and the nose of the Martin B-26 medium bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
These painting masks from the Czech maker Eduard are intended for models of the Martin B-26 Marauder medium bomber in the F and G versions, in 1:72 scale. The parts in low-tack kabuki tape cover the glazing of the cockpit and the subdivided glazed nose, so that straight, crisp frames remain after spraying. Thanks to them the masking is quick and clean.
The Martin B-26 Marauder was an American twin-engined medium bomber deployed during the Second World War. It stood out for high speed and toughness, but it had demanding flying characteristics. The late F and G versions differed from the earlier ones in an increased wing incidence angle, which made takeoff and landing easier. Do not confuse it with the later A-26 Invader type.
Lift the parts off the sheet, transfer them to the glazing and press them down with a soft tool along the frames. Finish covering the glazed nose with strips of tape or liquid mask. Spray the color of the frame and then the exterior shade, and remove the masks while the paint is freshly dry.
The masks are an accessory for spraying, not a model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
