An extensive accessory set for a model of the Boeing B-52G Stratofortress strategic bomber in 1:72 scale. It is intended for modelers who want to add finer detail to the base kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Boeing B-52G Stratofortress is an American strategic bomber that became one of the symbols of the Cold War. It carries eight engines in four paired nacelles hung under a swept wing of large span, its main landing gear is arranged in tandem units under the fuselage, and outrigger wheels at the wingtips help it. You can recognize the G version by a lower vertical tail than the earlier series carried.
This is an extensive accessory set for a B-52G model in 1:72 scale, that is a collection of parts with which you replace or supplement pieces of the base kit. The designation big set suggests that the scope is wider than that of single-purpose sets aimed at one assembly of the airframe. Which parts belong where and in what order they are fitted is shown by the manufacturer's instructions.
The parts are not polystyrene, so cement for plastic models does not hold on them; use super glue, and epoxy on larger surfaces. Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and carefully sand off the rest, so that the detail stays whole. Wash everything in lukewarm soapy water before painting and let it dry thoroughly, and only then apply primer. Small parts are more comfortably painted before they are fitted onto the model.
The set is intended for modelers who already have a large model behind them and are not afraid of working with hard materials, tweezers and fine abrasives. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
