A resin detail accessory of the Quickboost brand, made by Aires, in 1:72 scale. The set replaces the exhausts of the so-called porcupine type with more faithfully shaped resin parts. This is not an aircraft model but a stand-alone accessory that raises the fidelity of a finished build.
The Bristol Beaufighter was a British twin-engine multipurpose aircraft of the Second World War, deployed as both a heavy fighter and a strike machine. It was powered by two radial engines, whose exhausts came out around the engine nacelles.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue. The exhausts come alive once they are shaded in rusty and metallic tones. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
