Omask Bf 109 E-1 / E-3, a 1:72 mask set

An Omask mask set intended for models of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 E-1 and E-3 fighter in 1:72 scale. It holds precisely shaped self-adhesive masks for the canopy glazing (the hood and the windscreen), with which you can spray the canopy frames cleanly and without taping them off by hand. The masks follow the shape of the specific parts of the model, so they sit exactly on the engraving of the glazing. The name marks them out for Special Hobby and Eduard kits.

Use

Peel the mask carefully off the backing, lay it on the part following the frames and press it down. Smooth the edges with a stick or tweezers so that paint cannot creep under the mask. Spray in thin coats; let the paint set and remove the masks before the coat hardens completely. The set makes painting the glazing considerably faster and more accurate.
