The kit captures the competition special Citroën C3 WRC in the specification of the year 2017 in 1:24 scale. Belkits is a Belgian brand that has long concentrated on modern and classic rally cars alike, and its kits belong among the more finely worked up in this category.
The Citroën C3 WRC came about according to the technical regulations of the world rally championship valid from 2017. Cars of this generation built on a turbocharged gasoline engine of 1.6 liters, all-wheel drive and a sequential gearbox; against the previous generation they got more pronounced aerodynamics, a wider body and higher power. The 2017 season was the first for the C3 WRC and the car started in the world championship until 2019.
On road and competition cars it is the quality of the paint that decides. First rid the body of mold parting lines and flash, treat it with a filler primer and apply the base color with an airbrush in thin coats, so that the engraved details are not lost. Assemble and paint the interior and the cage before you close the body up. Clear-coat the areas with gloss before the decals, and once the decals have dried seal the whole surface with matte or semi-matte clear according to the look you want. Mask the glazed areas rather than painting over them, and never apply clear coat onto paint that has not dried through.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
