Eduard 1:72 Blenheim Mk. IV is a set of precisely cut painting masks for spraying the canopy glazing of a model of the British Bristol Blenheim Mk.IV bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of painting masks in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker Eduard. It is not a model of an aircraft but an accessory for painting the frames of the extensively glazed nose and canopy of a Bristol Blenheim Mk.IV bomber model cleanly. The masks are cut to fit the glazing, so the busy frames come out sharp and even without the slow cutting of masking tape. Sets of this type usually hold masks for the wheels as well.
The Bristol Blenheim Mk.IV was a British twin-engine bomber and reconnaissance aircraft from the early part of the Second World War, with a characteristic lengthened glazed nose. The extensive glazing improved the view for the navigator and the bomb aimer. The aircraft served on a number of fronts in the early period of the war.
Lift the masks off the sheet, place them on the glazed areas and press them down. Lay the paint down with an airbrush in thin coats. The interior shade is usually sprayed first and the covering color of the frames afterwards. Once dry, lift the masks off and gently wipe away the adhesive residue.
This is a masking accessory, not a model. Paints, glue and the kit itself are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
