Eduard 1:72 Blenheim Mk.IVF masks is a die-cut self-adhesive masking set in kabuki tape for masking the glazed nose and the cockpit of a model of the British aircraft with a glazed nose. It is not a model but an accessory for painting.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Czech maker Eduard contains precisely die-cut self-adhesive masks in fine Japanese kabuki tape. It is neither a kit nor a model, but an accessory for clean masking of the glazed nose, the cockpit and the wheels while the paints are sprayed. The scale of the set is 1:72.
The masks are stuck onto the frames of the glazed nose and the cockpit and onto the wheel discs. After spraying the glass stays clear and the tires free of paint. Kabuki tape adapts to the shapes of the frames, holds tightly and leaves no adhesive when lifted off. On an aircraft with a richly glazed nose the set saves a great deal of time compared with cutting by hand.
The Bristol Blenheim Mk.IVF was a British twin-engined aircraft of the Second World War. It was the fighter variant of the Blenheim light bomber, fitted with a ventral pack holding four machine guns. These machines served with RAF Coastal Command to protect convoys against German long-range bombers.
The set contains die-cut self-adhesive masking parts only. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
