Injection-molded plastic kit of the French twin-engined reconnaissance bomber Bloch MB.174 in 1:72 scale from the French manufacturer Heller. It is a classic tooling reissued a number of times, with a glazed nose and clear parts. The box contains plastic parts, decals and instructions. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Bloch MB.174 grew out of the Bloch 170 family and was a French three-seat twin-engined armed reconnaissance bomber. The first prototype flew at the beginning of 1939. The machine had excellent flying qualities and good performance, although it reached the fighting of 1940 only in limited numbers. A few aircraft served until the end of the Second World War. The glazed nose served the navigator and the observer.
With an older tooling, count on more careful fitting, sanding of the parting lines and filling where needed. Protect the clear nose and cockpit parts with masks. Glue the joints with liquid cement for plastic and build the model over a base coat (primer). French camouflage schemes of 1940 were multi-color mottled patterns, and an airbrush suits the soft transitions.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
