About product

Bristol 192 Belvedere kabuki masks (1:72, Peewit)

A set of self-adhesive painting masks of kabuki (washi) paper tape for a model of the tandem rotor helicopter Bristol 192 Belvedere in 1:72 scale. The masks follow the frames of the glazing precisely and allow a sharp spray of the glazed areas without laborious masking by hand. A clear plan with the placement of the individual parts tends to be included. The set is intended for the Airfix kit.

Use

  • Clean and degrease the glazing and transfer the mask parts with tweezers.
  • Press the film down all around the frames so that paint does not run under it.
  • Spray thin layers; lift the mask off while the paint is still fresh.

The real subject

The Bristol 192 Belvedere was a British twin-engine transport helicopter with a tandem rotor layout, operated by the Royal Air Force at the end of the fifties and during the sixties.

Who the set is for

  • Modelers who want sharp glazing without masking by hand.
  • Builders of aircraft models in 1:72 scale.

These are painting masks, not a kit. Paints, glue and the model itself are not included in the package.
