1:72 C-130J Hercules cargo interior is a photo-etched detail set for working up the cargo hold of a model of the Hercules transport in 1:72 scale. It is not a kit but an accessory to a base model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched accessory from the Czech maker Eduard intended for the cargo hold of a C-130J Hercules model in 1:72 scale. This is a full photo-etched set, not the reduced set of the Zoom range. Photo-etched parts make sense exactly where injection-molded plastic cannot be thin enough: on thin sections, grilles, consoles and flat elements that are clearly visible in an open cargo hold.
The Lockheed Martin C-130J Super Hercules is a four-engine turboprop transport aircraft with a high-mounted wing, a rear cargo ramp and landing gear retracting into side fairings on the fuselage. It can be told from the older versions of the Hercules by its six-blade propellers and its modern cockpit. The cargo hold of the real aircraft is busy, with longitudinal beams, tie-down elements and folding seats along the walls, so a model with an open ramp lets the detail show.
Separate the parts with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface, not with side cutters. Make the bends over a metal ruler or in a bending tool, and the edge will then hold its shape. They are bonded with a small drop of super glue or with a special thin glue for metal; excess is hard to remove from etch. Degrease the areas before painting and use a primer, otherwise the paint holds poorly on smooth metal. Finish the interior before you close the fuselage.
The set is an accessory to a kit, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
