An injection-molded plastic kit of the Canadian Chevrolet C15TA armored transport vehicle of the Second World War, in 1:72 scale. The model is issued by the Polish manufacturer IBG Models. The package holds plastic parts, clear parts and a decal sheet; it is a rewarding addition to dioramas of Allied units on the Western Front.
The Chevrolet C15TA was a Canadian lightly armored carrier based on the chassis of the C15 military truck and on the design of a light scout vehicle. It served as an armored personnel carrier, a courier vehicle and an ambulance. British, Canadian, Polish and Czechoslovak units used it in the campaign in Western Europe. It was built in large numbers in Oshawa, Canada.
Glue the parts with thin plastic cement; separate the small parts carefully. Assemble and paint the chassis and the interior before closing up the body. After the primer, apply the camouflage with an airbrush; settle the decals for Allied units on a gloss varnish. A dark wash and pigments give the vehicle realistic weathering and dust effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
