An accessory set in 1:72 scale for the British Churchill Mk IV infantry tank. Parts that turn a bare kit into a machine in the field.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Churchill was one of the British infantry tanks, that is machines built to accompany infantry. On them speed gave way to armor and to the ability to cross ground that other tanks went around. The long hull with the track carried right over the top edge of the sides and with a row of small road wheels gave the Churchill the reputation of a machine that climbs a slope where the others get stuck. The Mk IV version became the most numerous of the series, and you can recognize it by the cast turret with rounded sides.
The set goes with a model of the Churchill Mk IV in 1:72 scale and completes it with parts that a kit does not normally include. You decide the arrangement on the model yourself, so two machines in the same column need not look identical.
Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the rest, then wash and degrease the parts. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts and check the particular procedure in the manufacturer's instructions. The Churchill has broad flat areas on its sides that look empty on their own; that is exactly why accessories pay off on it. Once they are glued on, go over the transitions with a dark wash so that the parts sit on the model as part of it, and brighten the edges with a dry brush.
For modelers who build British vehicles in 1:72 scale and want to bring a model closer to the real subject. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
