Eduard 1:72 Consolidated B-24H Liberator is a photo-etched set from the Zoom range, a smaller colored subset of the full photo-etched set for a model of the B-24H bomber in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft kit.

The set belongs to the Zoom range. At Eduard, Zoom is the smaller variant of a photo-etched set: it concentrates on the colored interior parts, whereas the full photo-etched set also holds more extensive bare structural parts. For choosing between them that is a substantial difference. If you want to detail a whole cockpit, bulkheads and structural elements included, reach for the full set; if what you are after is a quick lift to the view into the cabin, Zoom is enough. In both cases this is an accessory, not an aircraft model; the kit has to be obtained separately.
The Consolidated B-24 Liberator was an American four-engine heavy bomber with a high-set Davis wing, twin vertical tails and nosewheel landing gear. Its slender, high aspect ratio wing gave it great range and load. The B-24H version differs from the earlier machines above all in a nose turret, which replaced the earlier weakly protected glazed nose and improved the defense against head-on attacks. The Liberator was built in large numbers and was deployed in the European as well as the Pacific theater.
Glue the colored parts with cyanoacrylate glue in a really small amount; if glue runs over a printed surface, the instruments lose their legibility. The molded plastic instrument panel usually has to be sanded flat first, so that the etched part seats with no gap. Bend the belts over the edge of a razor blade and let them drape naturally. In 1:72 scale, once the fuselage is closed only the windows and the canopy give a view in, so it pays to concentrate the work on what will really be seen and to leave the rest simple.
