This is a resin kit for experienced modelers in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer ROP. The model is cast in resin and is meant to be assembled and painted; it captures the look of the real subject faithfully.
The light fortification model 37, popularly called the Ropik, was the Czechoslovak light border fortification built in 1937 and 1938. Type A delivered flanking machine gun fire along the sides of the defense line and was the most widespread type; the numerical designation specifies the angle between the embrasures and the reinforced form. This version is conceived as a diorama with the terrain around the work.
First wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks carefully and sand the surfaces down (protecting your breathing). It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). A primer is recommended; build the concrete surfaces up by misting light gray and sand tones, bring out the recesses with a wash and suggest dust or mud with pigments. You will finish the terrain base with static grass, pigments and fine gravel so that the work sits convincingly in the landscape.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
