1:72 Cushman - model 39 (ver.A) is a small kit of an American utility scooter from the manufacturer Firma49.
Responsibility details are not available.
A miniature kit of a light utility scooter of the American Cushman marque. In 1:72 scale it is a really small object, which is most often used for livening up a scene: on an airfield apron, by a workshop or among parked hardware a single scooter can reveal the size of everything around. Firma49 lists model 39 in two renditions designated A and B; the name states rendition A.
Cushman was an American firm from Nebraska that became renowned for light motor scooters for carrying people as well as small loads over short distances. Machines of this marque came into their own in factory halls, on airfield aprons and in the rear areas of military bases, where they replaced walking where an automobile would be needlessly large. A simple frame, small wheels and an undemanding engine made them a machine practically anyone could operate.
The parts are, given the scale, very small, so work over a mat with a raised edge and use tweezers. If the components are of resin or of printing, separate them from the sprue gates with a cut, not by breaking them off, and glue the joints with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply the paint in a thin layer, so that it does not flood the fine edges, and at the close add a lighter tinge with a dry brush on the places where the paint would rub through.
The parts are supplied unpainted and unassembled, and the finishing is up to the modeler.
