1:72 de Havilland DH-80A Puss Moth

The painting mask de Havilland DH-80A Puss Moth in 1:72 scale (Peewit)

A set of self-adhesive, precisely pre-cut masks from the Czech brand Peewit. It serves to mask the glazing of the cabin and the wheels during spraying and makes clean transitions of color possible without lengthy cutting out. This is an accessory for a model, not a kit.

The real subject

The de Havilland DH-80A Puss Moth was a British high-wing monoplane from the start of the 1930s, a popular touring and sporting aircraft of its day. The glazed cabin with its many frames is demanding to mask, which is why a pre-cut set comes in useful.

Use

• Transfer the masks from the sheet and seat them precisely on the frames of the glazing and on the wheels.
• Cover the larger glazed areas between the frames with offcuts of film or with masking fluid.
• Spray in thin coats, so that the paint does not run under.
• Remove the masks while the paint is tacky for a sharp transition.

Who the set is for

• Modelers building the Puss Moth in 1:72 scale who want clean masking of the cabin and the wheels.

This is a standalone set of masks. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
