The 1:72 de Havilland Mosquito B Mk.IV/PR Mk.IV LooK cockpit set from Eduard brings a pre-painted panel for the early unarmed versions.
Responsibility details are not available.
The cockpit set brings a pre-painted instrument panel for the early bomber and reconnaissance versions of the Mosquito. It is made as a three-dimensional part that is simply dropped into the model and needs no further work. The aircraft kit does not belong to this item.
The B Mk.IV was the first production bomber variant, without a single gun, with a faired nose and a bomb bay in the fuselage. The bet on speed instead of defense paid off: these machines flew day and night strikes against targets in Germany and became the basis of the later marker units. The designation PR Mk.IV was carried by airframes converted for long-range photographic reconnaissance, with cameras in the fuselage and no bomb load. Both variants were powered by early Merlin engines and differed from later machines in the shape of the engine nacelles as well.
For modelers of early Mosquitoes who are bothered by the flat printed panel from the box and want real depth in the cockpit. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
The reconnaissance and the bomber versions differed inside the cockpit, so make sure which of them your kit represents.
