The Peewit de Havilland Mosquito B.Mk.XVI mask 1:72 is a set of self-adhesive, precisely die-cut masks made from kabuki tape for painting the cockpit frames cleanly.
Responsibility details are not available.
Pre-die-cut self-adhesive masks made from fine kabuki tape, shaped precisely for the injection-molded kit of the de Havilland Mosquito B.Mk.XVI fast bomber in 1:72 scale. The masks fit the complex cockpit glazing as well as the glazed nose of this version. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
The de Havilland Mosquito was a British twin-engine multi-role aircraft of largely wooden construction. The B.Mk.XVI bomber version had a pressurized cabin and was used for precision raids and as a pathfinder. The glazed nose and the complex cockpit make masking one of the slower steps of the build.
Lift the mask with tweezers, place it on degreased glazing and press the edges down carefully, above all on the complex nose. Spray the paint in thin coats with an airbrush and lift the mask off shortly after it has dried.
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
