About product

A wheel set for the de Havilland Mosquito (the early version) 1:72

This is not a model of an aircraft but a resin (3D printed) wheel set for models of the British de Havilland Mosquito aircraft in the early version. The wheels are finely drawn, with a faithful structure of the tread and the hub matching the early form, and they will refine a model against the base plastic parts.

Use

  • A replacement for the plastic wheels on a model of the Mosquito in the early version, 1:72.
  • A refinement of the landing gear and the contact area.
  • Suitable for a model standing on the ground.

Usage tips

  • Wash the parts free of release agent and let them dry.
  • Cut the casting blocks off and clean up the surfaces.
  • Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).
  • Wear respiratory protection while sanding.

Who it is for

  • Modelers of British aircraft of the Second World War.
  • More experienced builders with a liking for superdetailing.

The accessory is supplied as a resin casting, unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
