About product

de Havilland Vampire masking set in 1:72 scale (Peewit)

This is a set of precisely die-cut self-adhesive masks, not a kit. The masks are intended for models of the British de Havilland Vampire jet in 1:72 scale and serve to paint the canopy glazing quickly and cleanly, without the laborious laying down of tape.

Use

  • Lift the parts carefully off the sheet and stick them onto the clear glazing along the canopy frames.
  • Press the edges of the masks down so that no paint bleeds under them.
  • Apply the paint in thin coats, ideally with an airbrush.
  • Once it has dried, lift the masks off carefully.

Who the set is for

For modelers who want crisp transitions on the canopy frames and cleanly painted glazing. It saves time and sharpens the result.

The set contains only the painting masks. The model itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.

FAQ

No. This is a set of painting masks; the model itself is not included in the package.

They make painting the canopy frames easier, so that the transitions in the paint are crisp and clean.
