C-47 Skytrain - Propeller with Jig 1:72 (Quickboost)

A resin detail accessory for a model of the C-47 Skytrain transport aircraft in 1:72 scale. The set holds replacement propellers with separate blades and hubs, whose blade shape and hub detail are more faithful than the plastic parts. It also includes an assembly jig (a template) that makes it easy to line the blades up and glue them into the hub accurately.

Use and fitting

  • Wash the parts to remove mold release residue and cut off the casting blocks with a fine file or a sanding stick
  • Set the blades into the hub using the enclosed jig to get the right angle
  • Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate)

Who the set is for

For modelers building the C-47 Skytrain in 1:72 who want more realistic propellers without hand-working them. Less experienced builders will appreciate the jig too.

This is an accessory, not a complete model. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
