This resin detail set contains a faithfully rendered exhaust nozzle for the F-100 Super Sabre in the C and D versions in 1:72 scale from Aires. It is an accessory for a kit that replaces the simplified plastic nozzle with fine structure on the petals and in the interior of the tail.
The F-100 Super Sabre was an American supersonic fighter, the first production type able to hold supersonic speed in level flight. It was powered by a single turbojet with afterburner and belonged to the so-called Century Series. The C and D versions served as fighter-bombers and were committed in Southeast Asia among other places.
First wash the parts to remove any mold release agent, separate them carefully from the casting blocks and dry-fit them to the rear of the fuselage. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and protect your airways while sanding resin. The inside of the nozzle comes out once painted in metallic shades and brought up with a wash.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not an airplane model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
