It is not an airplane model but a detail accessory for more experienced modelers, replacing the featureless plastic parts with crisp castings ready to be varnished in translucent colors.
The Republic F-105 Thunderchief was an American single-seat supersonic fighter-bomber. It was among the largest single-engine combat aircraft of its day and was widely used on strike missions in the Vietnam War, where it carried a large bomb load deep into enemy territory.
First wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water to remove mold release residue from the mold. Cut off the casting blocks with a sharp saw or knife and sand the cut surfaces with respiratory protection. Bond the parts with super glue (cyanoacrylate), not with ordinary plastic cement. Test the fit dry before painting, as resin may need a little cleaning up.
The set is supplied as a resin part, unassembled and unpainted. It is not an airplane model but an accessory for a plastic kit. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
