1:72 F-15I Ra'am is a set of self-adhesive masking templates from Art Scale for a model of the Israeli strike aircraft in 1:72 scale, in the double-sided version.

This item is not a model or a photo-etched set but a set of masks. The self-adhesive film is cut in advance to the shape of the cockpit canopy frames and of the other areas that are covered while spraying. The template is peeled off, stuck onto the clear part, the frame is sprayed and once the paint has dried the mask is lifted off. In 1:72 scale this help is especially valuable, because the frames are so narrow that hand-cut tape can hardly follow them straight.
The double-sided version. According to the name the set is double-sided, so it allows for the inner side of the glazing as well. On the large bubble cockpit of a machine of this class there is a clear view into the interior, so frames treated only from outside tend to be noticeable on a finished model.
The F-15I is the Israeli two-seat strike version derived from the twin-engine aircraft of the F-15E family. The crew consists of a pilot and a weapon systems officer, the aircraft is intended for attacks on ground targets at long range and it carries conformal fuel tanks along the sides of the fuselage. The cockpit is long and broken up, so the frames form a prominent visual line on the model on which the quality of the masking shows at once.
Wash and degrease the glazing, or the small templates will lift at the edges. Carry the film with tweezers and press the edges down with a toothpick. Spray thin coats; in small scales a really fine dose is enough. Take the mask off shortly after the paint has dried and with a pull along the surface. On cockpits with a golden-tinted coating, make sure the mask does not stay stuck over the layer of varnish longer than necessary.
