A modern injection-molded plastic kit of the heavy fighter aircraft F-15J Eagle in the colors of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, made in 1:72 scale by Great Wall Hobby. The set is known for its fine engraved surface texture, well-fitting parts and a detailed cockpit, so that a convincing model comes out even in this smaller scale.
The F-15J is the Japanese license-built version of the American air superiority fighter F-15 Eagle, operated by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force. The twin-engine aircraft with powerful engines and strong radar-guided armament became the backbone of Japanese fighter defense and has served in it for decades in many squadrons.
Glue the plastic with liquid modeling cement and sand the fuselage joints carefully. Paint the cockpit and the landing gear bays before closing up the fuselage. The gray camouflage is best built up with an airbrush in layers; apply a gloss coat under the decals and unify the whole with a matte coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
