An injection-molded plastic kit of the two-seat version of the American lightweight fighter F-16B Fighting Falcon in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer Hobby Boss. The model uses an upper fuselage molded with slide mold technology, with fine surface detail, and it offers a choice of vertical tail shape. The package holds a clear canopy and decals for two marking options.
The General Dynamics (later Lockheed Martin) F-16 Fighting Falcon is an American single-engine lightweight multirole fighter. The B version is a two-seater with a tandem cockpit under a single bubble canopy; it serves for training as well as for combat. Characteristic of the Falcon are the blended fuselage and wing, the strongly reclined seat and its outstanding maneuverability. The type flies in dozens of countries around the world.
Use a thin cement for plastic and finish and paint the tandem cockpit before closing the fuselage. Apply a primer before painting and lay the colors on with an airbrush; Falcons typically wear gray camouflage with soft transitions between the shades. Choose the right vertical tail shape for the machine you pick and fit the clear canopy only at the end of the build.
