This set is a resin accessory in 1:72 scale, not a model of the airplane in its own right. It replaces the original tandem two-seat cockpit of a plastic F-16D Fighting Falcon kit with a one-piece resin casting with sharp detail of both tubs, the seats, the side panels and the instrument panels. It is intended for experienced modelers who want to move a cockpit above the level of the molding out of the box.
The General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon is an American single-engined fourth-generation multirole fighter. The D version is the two-seat combat trainer form with a tandem cockpit for two crew members, which keeps the combat capability of the single-seat version.
This is a resin casting for the advanced. First wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut the casting blocks off carefully and clean up the cut surfaces, always with respiratory protection. They are glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate); try the surfaces dry before fixing them. It pays to paint the cockpit and bring it out before the fuselage is closed up.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a set of resin. The kit of the aircraft, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package.
