This is a resin detail set from Aires in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory that replaces the engine exhaust nozzle on a plastic kit of the F-16I Sufa. Resin allows a fine rendering of the petals and of the inner structure of the nozzle.
The F-16I Sufa is a two-seat variant of the single-engine fighter derived from the later blocks of the F-16 line. Its hallmarks are a dorsal spine and conformal fuel tanks. Both the single-seat and the two-seat version have a single circular exhaust nozzle, which this set refines in 1:72 scale.
Wash the parts to remove any mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the nozzle separately in metallic and heat-stained shades and only then fit it to the fuselage.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
