F-4 Phantom masks 1:72, Eduard

A set of self-adhesive masks in thin Japanese masking tape (kabuki) in 1:72 scale for the McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II fighter. The masks follow the frames of the cockpit glazing exactly, and usually the landing gear wheels and other areas that need protecting during painting. It is not a kit but an accessory that makes painting a model easier.

Use

  • Transfer the die-cut masks with tweezers onto clean glazing and press them down along the outline of the frame.
  • Cover the open areas of glazing with a piece of tape or with liquid mask.
  • Spray the frame color, let it flash off and take the masks off carefully.
  • The result is sharp transitions without going over them by hand with a brush.

Who it is for

Suitable for aircraft modelers building the Phantom in 1:72 scale who want clean, quick masking of the glazing without laborious cutting.

The accessory does not contain a model. Paints and varnish are not included in the package.
