A resin detail accessory of the Quickboost brand, made by Aires, intended to refine the plastic kit of the carrier-based F/A-18 Hornet multirole aircraft in 1:72 scale. The set replaces the horizontal tail surfaces, the elevators, with finely cast parts with a faithful profile and surface detail.
The F/A-18 Hornet is a twin-engine carrier-based multirole aircraft able to fly both fighter and strike missions. The moving horizontal tail surfaces provide control in pitch, and rendering them faithfully, ideally in a slightly deflected position, brings the overall look of a model to life.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them from the casting blocks and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The elevators can be fitted slightly deflected for a more natural parked look.
This is an accessory for a kit, not an aircraft model. The kit itself is not included in the package.
