FG.1 Phantom — painting masks 1:72 (Eduard)

A set of painting masks from the Czech maker Eduard for a model of the Phantom jet fighter in the FG.1 version in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for painting, which serves to mask the glazing and other surfaces precisely. The parts are cut from an adhesive masking film to the shape of the canopy framing.

Use

• Sticking the pre-cut parts onto the canopy framing and the glazing
• Masking the wheels or other surfaces, depending on the scope of the set
• Spraying the paint on with an airbrush without it creeping under the edge of the mask
• Lifting the masks off once the paint has dried, revealing cleanly bounded surfaces
