1:72 Fighter bombers Part II

DK Decals 1:72 Fighter bombers Part II — decal sheet

The second part of the popular series of wet (water-activated) decals from DK Decals offers further markings of Allied fighter-bombers of the Second World War in 1:72 scale. It is not a model but a set of decals for finishing models in a particular historical form. The sheet follows on from the first part and brings new schemes of British, South African and American machines from various theaters.

What the sheet offers

• Markings for several types of aircraft, among which the Hawker Hurricane, the Hawker Typhoon, the Supermarine Spitfire, the American P-51 Mustang and Australian Kittyhawks are usually found
• A combination of British (RAF), South African (SAAF), Australian (RAAF) and American squadrons
• Various camouflage schemes and the individual codes of particular machines

Application tips

• Apply the decals over a smooth gloss clear coat to prevent silvering.
• Use a decal softener to make them settle into engraved detail and onto curved surfaces.
• Finally unify the surface with a matte clear varnish.

Who the sheet is for

• For builders of Allied fighter-bombers in 1:72 scale
• For anyone interested in less common schemes and international squadrons
• For modelers who want an alternative to the decals from the box

The package holds decals only. The models, paints and glue are not included.
