This is a photo-etched brass detail set for sharpening up a plastic model of the German twin-engine Focke-Wulf Ta 154 night fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not an airplane kit but an accessory meant for one particular Ta 154 model in this scale. The set adds fine metal features that injection-molded plastic cannot express in so small a scale. The set is meant for the Hasegawa kit.
The Focke-Wulf Ta 154 Moskito was a German night and day fighter of the end of the Second World War with a wooden airframe. It saw only limited combat service; an interesting subject for collectors of Luftwaffe aircraft.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and make the bends along the etched groove. Super glue or epoxy holds best. Degrease the surfaces before gluing, and once the parts are on, paint them with a brush or an airbrush. Small parts are easily lost, so work over a light-colored surface.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without the base kit. Glue, paints and the target model are not included in the package.
