A display base for a 1:72 model with the French tricolor is a printed acrylic sheet 3 mm thick with an area of 280 x 180 mm. It gives a finished machine a clean and striking base.
Responsibility details are not available.
Blue, white and red in three vertical stripes cover the whole surface of a sheet of acrylic glass 3 mm thick. A usable area of 280 x 180 mm and a low weight of 170 g make it a practical addition to a display case and travel gear for a modeling competition alike. The range is supplied by the Ukrainian firm Kelik.
The arrangement of three stripes arose during the revolution at the close of the 18th century by joining the city colors of Paris with the royal white. Since then it has been among the most easily recognizable state symbols of all, and in aviation it also appears as part of the roundel.
It offers itself under kits of the type of the Dassault Rafale, the Mirage 2000, the Alpha Jet trainer or the older Dewoitine D.520. The striking stripes work best under a model in a light or metallic color, because a dark camouflage partly merges with the blue stripe. If you want to strengthen the contrast, turn the model so that its longitudinal axis runs across the stripes. The colors appear in aviation on the vertical tail surface as well, so the motif of the base and the markings of the machine complement each other.
You are buying only the base, not an aircraft or its crew.
