A finished model of the F-84G jet fighter-bomber in the finish of the French Air Force of 1952, 1:72 scale, made by Easy Model. The model is completely assembled and painted at the factory, including the national insignia and the serial numbers. It is not a kit and calls for no glue, filler or paints.
In the first half of the 1950s the Thunderjet in its G version became one of the most widespread jet aircraft of the European air forces. It was a single-engined machine with a straight wing, the engine in the fuselage and the intake in the nose. A pair of wingtip tanks was typical as well. The French Air Force took it into service as part of military aid deliveries and used it for training and for ground support tasks until swept-wing aircraft replaced it.
A range of finished models of the same type in various national finishes makes it possible to set up a clear group in a display case, where the individual pieces differ only in paint and insignia. That is exactly what makes the F-84G rewarding, because many European states operated it at the same time. In 1:72 scale each piece takes up very little room, so even a larger group fits on a single shelf. Arrange the models so that they do not touch one another with their wingtip tanks and tail surfaces, otherwise the paint may be rubbed.
The model is supplied finished, assembled and painted. Glue and paints are not included and are not needed. Protect the model from dust and direct sunlight.
