MASTER 1:72 Fw 190 A2 to A5: armament and pitot set

A set of precisely turned metal parts from the Polish manufacturer MASTER for a plastic model of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 fighter in versions A2 to A5 in 1:72 scale. According to the name it holds metal barrel tips of the MG 17 machine guns, the MG FF and MG 151 cannons and a pitot tube. It is neither a model nor a kit but a package of detail accessories replacing plastic parts.

The real subject

The Fw 190 was one of the best German fighters of the Second World War, valued for its ruggedness and heavy armament. The early A2 to A5 versions combined machine guns and cannons in the fuselage as well as the wings. Sharp metal muzzles raise the realism of the armament.

Use

• Cut off the original plastic parts and clean the surfaces up.
• Pre-drill the fitting holes as needed.
• Glue the metal parts in with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
• The brass can be blackened for a faithful look of the barrels.
